Microsoft has announced a new version of the Xbox Series S in carbon black with 1TB of built-in storage during the Xbox Games Showcase. The only major change is the new color option and more storage. The black Xbox Series S will be available for purchase on September 1st for $349 and pre-orders have started.
Phil Spencer, Xbox chief, announced the carbon black Xbox Series S on stage where he also mentioned that the shipments of Xbox Series X have increased to meet customer demand.
The new black Xbox Series S with 1TB of storage will cost $349, which is $50 more than the 512GB model. Microsoft has stated that the black variant of Xbox Series S will be released on September 1st in time for the release of Starfield and Forza Motorsport.
