Formula E Team Accused of Illicitly Utilizing RFID Scanner to Illicitly Obtain Live Tire Data from Competitor Cars

The Stewards were informed by the Technical Delegate that the competitor had set up RFID scanning equipment in the pit lane entry this morning that could gather real-time data from all cars. Firstly, it is generally prohibited for competitors to install or place any equipment in the pit lane. Secondly, obtaining data through this method provides the competitor with a significant and unfair advantage. Considering all the circumstances, the Stewards believe that the imposed penalty is justified.
