Xbox and Atlus are partners, and they have announced that Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable are coming to Xbox Game Pass. Recently, two more Persona games and a new Atlus RPG have been added to the list.
Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the original Persona 3. In 2006, the game was released on the PlayStation 2, and The Verge entertainment editor Andrew Webster wrote a great breakdown of it, which you can easily find online.
Persona 5 Tactica is a remix of Persona 5, transforming an RPG into a tactics game. It is meant to temporarily satisfy fans until the release of Persona 6. Kotaku also gave high praise to Persona 5 Strikers, a sequel that fans can also check out.
In addition, Atlus is releasing a new RPG called Metaphor: ReFantazio in 2024. Unlike the Persona and SMT series, Metaphor has a medieval fantasy vibe.
Before the Xbox showcase, both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica were accidentally leaked by the Atlus West Instagram account. Despite the surprise being ruined, fans of Atlus games with Xbox consoles have something to look forward to in the coming years.
